Distance Sales Agreement
ARTICLE 1 – PARTIES
This Distance Sales Agreement (“Agreement”) is concluded electronically between:

The individual or legal entity purchasing tour services through the website www.travelsinistanbul.com
ARTICLE 2 – SUBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT
The subject of this Agreement is the determination of the rights and obligations of the parties in accordance with the Law on Consumer Protection No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, regarding the sale and provision of tour services purchased electronically by the BUYER from the SELLER’s website.
ARTICLE 3 – DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The BUYER purchases the tour service selected on the website of the SELLER under the conditions and content specified on the relevant tour page.
The details, inclusions, exclusions, and pricing of each tour are clearly stated on the related tour description page.
ARTICLE 4 – PRICING AND PAYMENT
All prices displayed on the website are listed in Euros (€) and Turkish Lira (TRY)
Payments are collected in Turkish Lira (TRY) equivalent to the Euro amount at the exchange rate valid at the time of payment.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
Accepted payment methods include credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and other methods specified on the booking platform.
All payment transactions are processed through secure and encrypted systems.
Upon successful completion of payment, the BUYER will receive a confirmation email including tour details and a receipt.
ARTICLE 5 – INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
Services included in the tour price are clearly specified on each tour page.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the following are not included in the tour price:
Personal expenses
Tips and gratuities
Entrance fees not listed in the itinerary
Additional food and beverages
Transportation to and from the departure point
ARTICLE 6 – CHILD POLICY
Children aged 0–3 participate free of charge.
For children older than 3 years, standard adult pricing applies unless otherwise specified.
ARTICLE 7 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
According to the Regulation on Distance Contracts, services related to tourism, accommodation, transportation, car rental, catering, and leisure activities to be provided on a specific date or period are exempt from the right of withdrawal.
Therefore, purchased tour services are not subject to the right of withdrawal. Cancellation and refund conditions are regulated separately under the “Cancellation and Refund Policy.”
ARTICLE 8 – SELLER’S RIGHT TO MODIFY SERVICES
The SELLER reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to:
Severe weather conditions
Operational necessities
Force majeure events
In such cases, the BUYER will be offered a full refund or an alternative tour or date of equal value.
ARTICLE 9 – BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES
The BUYER is responsible for arriving at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled tour time.
The SELLER is not obligated to wait for late arrivals.
The BUYER is responsible for the safety of personal belongings during the tour.
Participants must comply with the instructions of guides and staff.
ARTICLE 10 – DATA SECURITY AND PRIVACY
All personal data collected during the booking process is processed and protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the SELLER’s Privacy Policy.
ARTICLE 11 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from this Agreement.
ARTICLE 12 – ACCEPTANCE
By completing a booking and payment through the website, the BUYER acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms of this Agreement.
